Renewable energy future in the Western Isles

With news of the predictable withdrawal of support for the islands interconnector by the UK Government
I would encourage all to support
my campaign to increase the capacity of the interconnector from Skye to Harris.
This would allow community turbines to run constantly thus generating much
needed income for our island communities.
Secondly, an alternative plan has always been the western isles council SNP group position and the motivation being that the council, custodians of the
islands resources, use the swathes of renewable energy potential for ALL
